1911-1912 C55 Imperial Tobacco Hockey 22 - Larry Gilmour Renfrew

About this proof

It possesses greater detail and clarity, particularly on the player’s face, jersey, and glove. The outer portions and borders of the card have similar defining characteristics as does the background. There are registration lines near all four corners on front. The text on the reverse has narrower lines and is sharper.

Did you know?

Larry Gilmour began playing with the Renfrew Riversides in 1907 and concluded his career with the Renfrew Creamery Kings in 1911. He developed so much affinity for the town of Renfrew that in 1911, when the Creamery Kings were dissolved, he chose to stay in Renfrew and coach hockey rather than accept an invitation to play professionally for the Montreal Canadiens.
